My name is Shawna Crabill and I am here to help you feel better. After going through a divorce just three months after having my first child, I decided to go back to school and pursue a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Having gone through therapy myself, I know what it’s like to be in your shoes and I can really empathize what you’re going through. I am now remarried, with two beautiful children, and I would not be the therapist I am today without the experiences I have.
Since 2008 the dragonfly and the philosophy it represents has strongly influenced my practice. I work with clients to help create the change they wish to see in themselves. This, in turn, establishes a higher level of self-awareness. The more they know and learn about themselves, the better they are at adapting to life’s changes. This also leads to an improved understanding of why they do the things they do. Self-awareness is a key factor in achieving lasting success and happiness. My work with my clients enables and empowers them to create their life the way they want it to be.
I went to Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino for my Masters in Psychology. My emphasis was in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Clinical Concentration was Child Therapy in a School Setting. My undergrad was at the University of Alabama. I currently live in the Valley with my husband and two children. In my spare time I love to cook, read, exercise and volunteer at my children’s school.
